Ulloorkadavu Bridge
One of the largest infrastructure projects in Kozhikode, the Ulloorkadavu Bridge was built across Akalapuzha to facilitate heavy traffic movement. This project was executed under the Superintending Engineer, R&B North Circle, Calicut. The bridge features modern foundation techniques, incorporating pre-stressed concrete girders and earthquake-resistant designs. This bridge plays a crucial role in ensuring better traffic flow in and out of Kozhikode city.
Parallel Bridge at Kanniyampuram
Located in Kanniyampuram, Palakkad, this parallel bridge was constructed to enhance connectivity along the Palakkad-Ponnani Road at km 34/200. This bridge was a critical infrastructure project aimed at easing congestion on the existing bridge and ensuring seamless transport for both commercial and personal travel. Executed by the PWD Bridges Division, Palakkad, the project was completed successfully. The bridge features modern engineering techniques, ensuring durability and long-term reliability.
Kakkeri Bridge
The Kakkeri Bridge, spanning Cherupuzha, connects Kunnamangalam and Chathamangalam Panchayath in Kozhikode District. The bridge was designed to accommodate both light and heavy vehicles, providing a vital link between agricultural and urban markets. Constructed under the NH Division, Kozhikode, this bridge stands as a testament to modern engineering solutions that prioritize both functionality and sustainability.
Thorayikadavu Bridge
Located in Calicut, the Thorayikadavu Bridge is an essential addition to Kerala's transport network. Thottumukkam-Kuzhinakkipara Bridge
Spanning Cherupuzha, this bridge connects Kozhikode and Malappuram districts, significantly improving regional accessibility. The bridge was designed to withstand high traffic loads, supporting both vehicular and pedestrian movement. Completed under the PWD Bridges Division, Kozhikode, this structure plays a crucial role in ensuring safe and efficient transit between these two key districts. The use of high-strength concrete and reinforced steel ensures its long-term stability.
